Wondering where you can find a spirited, fun-packed adventure to have with your family? Curious about what it would look like if Bass Pro Shops and Las Vegas had a baby? New England’s Great Wolf Lodge is the answer! Visit its enormous indoor water park and resort for a family getaway like no other, all in nearby Fitchburg, Mass.

MK DERRY INSIDER TIPS & TRICKS

  • What to Wear - In addition to your wolf ears, we suggest comfy attire. Keep the kiddos in swimwear and PJs. For you, casual wear or even PJs, but wear clothes with pockets! All you’ll need is your phone and key card. Keep your hands free for all the fun!
  • Poolside VIP - The cabanas are wonderful if you can afford them. Depending on where your kids want to swim and if they are young (so you need to be close by), you may just want to plan to get to the pool early and claim a poolside table for the day.
  • What to Eat - You can bring your own food, and we suggest you bring water and snacks. There are, however, lots of tasty onsite options if you want to keep it simple. FYI - There’s a Dunks onsite, but you can’t mobile order ahead and the line is typically long when you most need that coffee. Littles can get bored so bring a tablet or game to keep them occupied while you wait (or just bring your own coffee).
  • What’s FREE? - Throughout the day and into the evening, check out all the free events hosted in the main lobby. From crafts to storytime to dance parties, there’s family fun for all!
  • How to double down on fun! - Upon check out, pack your things and bring them to your car. Keep with you only a change of clothes. Enjoy the water park all day, even after check out!
