Training at our school is based on three principles of training known as the Student Creeds. The Student Creeds are goals that all students strive to attain and live by.

Student Creed #1

Remembering that the martial arts begin and end with respect, I intend to develop myself in a positive manner and avoid anything that would reduce my mental growth or physical health.

Student Creed #2

I intend to develop self-discipline in order to bring out the best in myself and others.

Student Creed #3

I intend to use what I learn in class constructively and defensively, to help myself and my fellow man, and never to be abusive or offensive.

INTRODUCTORY PROGRAM

Your first lesson is a one-on-one private (or small group class for friends and family members) lesson with one of our qualified black belt instructors. We use this time to introduce you to our school, as well as teach foundational martial arts movements and self-defense techniques. Our Introductory Program includes two half-hour private lessons, a karate uniform, and a student evaluation. Our Introductory Program is valued at $59.95.

TRAINING COMMITMENT

A level of commitment is necessary to attain all of your goals through our karate program. One hundred lessons will get you started in the correct direction, while showing you progress.

It is highly recommended that students train twice a week. This offers a great balance of memory retention from “class A” to "class B,” while avoiding an unnecessary “burn out.” That being said, when a student is getting ready for a test or an event, training in more that two classes per week is encouraged.

PRIVATE LESSONS AND GROUP CLASSES

All students begin with a series of private lessons before moving to a group class. During the private lessons, new students will work the basics and get to know all the instructors, helping with the transition. We have private lessons available to everyone throughout their training, but most find that the energy of the group classes very helpful in their quest for black belt excellence.

Group classes are typically 60 minutes for beginner adult students and 45 minutes for beginner junior students. Group classes are scheduled Montay through Thursday and Saturday.
