You'll find something nice for everyone in the family at the Elaine David Thrift Shop. It is located in the basement of the Hampstead Public Library and is open all year. It features good quality, clean, gently used seasonal clothing for men, women and children. In addition, there is a small selection of household and seasonal items. Check out the pop-up sales and the sales at the end of every season. If you've never visited the Thrift Shop, you're in for a great surprise! Come browse the very high quality clothing at incredibly low prices.

Donations: The Thrift Shop gladly accepts clothing donations (in-season or as announced in the local newspapers.) Bring your donations to the library anytime it is open. Please never leave donations outside the library. Unfortunately, the Shop cannot accept furniture, utensils, or books. Some household items are accepted; please ask the Thrift Shop staff in advance. All donations are gratefully received.

The Thrift Shop is the primary fundraising effort of the Friends of the Hampstead Public Library. The proceeds are used to support library museum pass program, events, and to help finance library purchases that are not covered in the regular town budget.

Open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9am–1pm.

Business Review

"This review is for Hollyhock Thrift Shop which is in the basement of the Hampstead Public Library. This is the most clean and organized thrift shop that I have ever been in. It is small and only open 2x wk (Tuesdays and Saturdays). Of course the men's section is small but again very organized and really nice stuff. All proceeds to to the library upstairs!! Cool!"
