Benson Park is a 166-acre, passive recreational spot open to the general public and is the pride of the local residents. Full of rich history, Benson Park was once home to "Benson's Wild Animal Farm", opened in 1924. Today the park is maintained by the Department of Public Works with help from a dedicated group of volunteers. The park is open daily with seasonal closing times. Come take your kids for an awesome time!
