Attention all axe-cellent teens going into grades 7-12. Join us on Tuesday, June 25 from 7:30 PM to 9 PM for a one-of-a-kind after-hours event: a mobile axe-throwing party right here at the library to celebrate the beginning of the 2024 Teen Summer Reading Program at the Nesmith Library! Get ready to unleash your inner lumberjack with safe and supervised axe throwing led by professionals. Plus, fuel up with delicious pizza served at 7:30 PM to keep you energized as you conquer the targets.
Here's what you need to know:
- Registration is a must! Spots are limited, so sign up before they're gone.
- Closed-toe shoes are absolutely required for safety. You will not be allowed to throw without them.
- Parents or guardians have to complete a waiver before you can throw. The waiver will be emailed to you when you register.
- Pick up is promptly at 9 PM. Any participants not picked up by 9:15 PM will be walked down to the Windham Police Station to have a safe environment to wait for their caregiver.
Please note: We will also be having our Adult and Children's Summer Reading Kick-Off earlier in the evening, if you are able to carpool or drop off, please do. Parking is very limited.
