DPD WANTED ROTTEN PUMPKIN contest starts THIS MONDAY!
As you all have previously witnessed, the four Gourd Brothers have recently escaped police custody, and we need your help in getting them back!
Beginning September 30th, the search is on for ONE of the Gourd Brothers.
A few rules for this fun-filled community event:
All pumpkins are hiding OUTSIDE in a PUBLIC AREA.
DO NOT go onto private property without someone’s authorization or permission.
ONE Gourd Brother will be hiding out somewhere in Derry each week.
Every Monday morning, a picture of one of the Gourd Brothers and a clue to where he might be hiding will be posted on our social media pages.
A new picture and a clue will be posted each day, if the Gourd Brother was not found.
If you find a Gourd Brother, please snap a fun picture and read the “Golden Ticket” attached to his stem.
Please bring the found Gourd Brother to the Derry Police Department and return him to Booking Officer Sullivan and/or Booking Officer Pierni during the hours of 7:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
The hunt ends Friday October 25th.
There will be FOUR total winners.
The names of the four winners will be placed into a hat with one lucky name chosen by the Chief of Police.
The GRAND PRIZE WINNER will be given the opportunity to ride with Derry PD Officers in the Very Derry Holiday Parade on Saturday, November 30th! 
This being the first time Derry PD has had rotten pumpkins escape from their facility, we ask the public to have fun and be kind while participating in this family friendly fall activity
