The neighborhoods in Pelham provide many different types of housing that embrace community living and New Hampshire grounds. Pelham has great opportunities for those who are looking to upsize, downsize, or even a new place to call home. These homes are very interchangeable depending on lifestyle, size of family, and cost of living. The neighborhoods have great access to the center of town where the police station, fire department, town hall, and library are all located. Pelham has all of its amenities in close quarters making it easy to access activities, run errands, and visit bordering towns.

Pizza and Subs 

Looking for a slice of pizza or a sub? Pelham has a variety of options to choose from including Brando’s, Suppa’s, Pelham House, and Domino's. These town favorites have in house dining for a quick bite, as well as take out for nights off from cooking. With their convenient locations, it makes it easy for residents to stop by on their commutes home from work or after being about and about on the weekends!

The Yolk Grill

The Yolk Grill, located on Route 38, is a hopping place for breakfast and lunch! Their menu has a variety of enticing options to choose from as well as a great selection for kids. The fantastic food presentation and generous portions combined with great service makes dining at the Yolk Grill an exciting experience. 

Coffee:

With Pelham being located in New England, Dunkin' Donuts coffee is a must! Pelham has three Dunkin' locations that are located in different parts of town to accommodate for all residents. The first location is right next to Pelham’s major grocery store making it easy to grab a coffee before a day of shopping. The second location is located on Route 38, one of Pelham’s largest passthrough roads making it a great quick stop. The last location is across town on Mammoth Road where residents spend lots of time enjoying a nearby park, as well as voyaging from place to place.

What better way to release energy than at a trampoline park? Altitude has all things fun that ranges from foam pits to rock climbing walls. This is a great place for family and friends to gather, or for kids to host their birthday parties.

Chunky’s Cinema

Dinner and a movie always makes for a great combination. Try a theater that has both! Chunky’s Cinema offers a movie themed menu with a variety of food options for all! The theater also includes a full bar, and comfy reclining chairs to create a unique movie experience with every visit!

Farmers Market

In the summer, there is nothing better than fresh fruit and vegetables locally grown. Pelham hosts their very own farmers market every Saturday from 10am -1pm during the summer months. This is a fun way to stay connected with the community as well as getting to spend some time outside.   

Yoga 

Stay active with yoga classes hosted by Pelham’s Moon River Wellness Center. Classes are located on the Village Green in the center of town. Participants are able to enjoy the outdoors while nurturing their health in a fun atmosphere. 

Concerts on the Green

When it comes to spending time with family and friends, one of the best ways to do so is listening to live music! The town of Pelham hosts live performances on Wednesdays located on the Village Green. The concerts run free throughout the summer, the only thing you need is a blanket, chairs, and good company!

Horribles Parade

Looking for a way to get in the Halloween spirit? Find your best costume and attend Pelham’s Horribles Parade! The event is hosted by the town’s fire department and occurs every year during the fall season. The parade runs through the center of town and ends with free candy, refreshments, popcorn, and more! 

Pelham Old Home Day

Pelham Old Home Day, one of the town's most popular events, runs in September and is welcome to all residents! This event has a walkthrough of Pelham’s local vendors that display a variety of items that are available for purchase. The day also holds many activities that include a parade, live performances, delicious food and more! 

Beaver Valley Farm & Country Store

Shop for all your local goods at Beaver Valley, a family owned store located right by the center of town! Here, residents can find all things pet oriented, grain, a garden center, a country store, and much more. Stop by for a fun and local shopping experience! 

Schools: 

Pelham’s school system holds three public schools known as Pelham Elementary, Pelham Memorial, and Pelham High School. Each school is located on the same road and is within walking distance of each other. This layout is very convenient for kids with after school events, as well as the parent commute.

Pelham Outdoors

Muldoon Park

This park has five different fields for baseball, little league, softball, football, and soccer/ lacrosse. It also contains a playground, disc golf course, and a walking path. 

Veterans Park

This park is located towards the Massachusetts border, and is welcome to residents only. It features a Town Beach, accompanied by picnic tables and hiking trails. It also has a lodge, multipurpose field, basketball course, and playground. 

Dennis P. Lyons Memorial Park

This park is located towards the center of Pelham. It has two lighted outdoor basketball courts, a skate park, and playground. There are also two fields that are either used for multipurpose activities or softball. 

Frederic Cutter Merriam Conservation Area

Located just off Sherburne Road is Cutter Woods. This area offers an array of different trails that provides a multitude of experiences. Residents are welcome to walk, bicycle, XC ski & snowshoe, and more! Each trail contains a different scenic view for residents to enjoy throughout the year.

Pelham, New Hampshire has many features that make it a desirable place to live. The town offers a variety of food stops, parks, and local events that bring residents together. The community is mainly made up of quiet neighborhoods, and smaller backroads. Living in Pelham allows residents to have a small town while having access to larger cities and major highways. This makes it very convenient to travel from place to place so if it's not in Pelham, it’s definitely close by! Pelham is a town that is always changing, growing and adapting with new amenities making it a great community to be a part of!
